Our initial stop is the picturesque town of Carhuaz, celebrated for its traditional charm and delectable artisanal ice cream crafted from fresh local fruits (optional). Here, enjoy the pristine mountain air and take in the breathtaking views of the snow-capped peaks that frame the valley.

We will then visit the Campo Santo of Yungay, a site of profound historical importance. Discover the compelling story of the catastrophic 1970 earthquake that engulfed the town. We'll explore the remnants and its cemetery, a place filled with remembrance and introspection.

Our next destination is the magnificent Huascarán National Park, home to the mesmerizing Llanganuco Lagoon. This turquoise expanse, formed by the Orconcocha and Chinancocha lagoons, is encircled by majestic mountains and lush greenery. Here, you can wander along picturesque trails or opt for a boat ride on the crystal-clear waters.

To refuel, we’ll indulge in a delightful lunch at a cozy local eatery (optional), allowing you to savor the authentic tastes of the region.

The journey proceeds to Caraz, fondly known as the "City of Snow-capped Peaks." In its charming Main Square, we will panoramically admire the Stone Temple, and you'll have the opportunity to sample the region's renowned dulce de leche and traditional fruit-based sweets.

Concluding our adventure, we’ll visit the district of Taricá, where talented artisans will demonstrate their traditional clay craftsmanship. Here, you can find unique, handcrafted mementos to bring home.

Finally, we’ll head back to Huaraz, carrying with us the unforgettable memories of this enchanting journey.
