We will commence our adventure early in the morning, picking you up from your hotel in the picturesque town of Ollantaytambo, and setting off on the road leading to Quillabamba.
Our first destination will be the archaeological site of Las Peñas, located just 15 kilometers away. Here, along with exploring ancient Inca ruins, you can admire endemic bird species such as the Chestnut-breasted Mountain-finch and the White-tufted Sunbeam.
The journey will then guide us to the breathtaking Abra Panticalla, where we will continue birdwatching amidst a stunning high Andean landscape. At its peak elevation of 4,316 meters above sea level, the Abra Málaga Pass is a haven for nature enthusiasts and bird conservationists.
