Full Day Colca Canyon Tour

At the break of dawn, we will pick you up from your hotel in Arequipa to embark on a remarkable journey to the Colca Valley. Our adventure begins with a scenic tour of the Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve, situated at an altitude of 4,000 meters, where you will have the chance to observe the graceful vicuñas.

After a 4-hour drive, we will arrive in the charming town of Chivay. Nestled at the highest point of the canyon at 3,635 meters above sea level, Chivay is a true Andean gem. Our tour continues to the Cruz del Condor viewpoints, perched at 4,700 meters, offering breathtaking views of the Colca River below.

Marvel at the stunning landscapes shaped by volcanoes, and witness the majestic flight of the Condor in its natural environment—an unparalleled spectacle. The Condor, a revered South American Heritage species, ranks among the largest flying birds globally.

Our journey will take us through the picturesque villages of Pinchollo, Maca, and Yanque. We will stop at the Antahuilque viewpoint, situated at 3,700 meters, to enjoy spectacular views of vibrant lagoons and the ancient terraces of Choquetico.

Indulge in a delightful lunch at a local restaurant in Chivay (optional). You may also choose to relax in the region's hot springs, known for their therapeutic properties (optional).

On our return to Arequipa, we will traverse the Chucura crater and Patahuasi, where you can spot diverse wildlife, including birds, llamas, and alpacas. We will stop at the volcanoes viewpoint at 4,800 meters, offering stunning vistas of volcanoes such as Misti, Sabancaya, Chachani, Ampato, and more.

Concluding this extensive day of exploring the Colca Canyon, we will return to Arequipa and ensure your safe transfer back to your hotel.
