We will walk past San Francisco Square, where you can admire a panoramic view of the San Francisco Church, originally built in the 17th century and restored multiple times following earthquakes. En route to the Plaza de Armas, we will encounter colonial mansions like the Tristán del Pozo Mansion, featuring a stunning 18th-century baroque entrance.
Our tour proceeds with a panoramic visit to the Plaza de Armas and the Municipal Palace, where you'll be captivated by the remarkable architecture. The Cathedral, the Jesuit-founded Church of La Compañía from the 17th century, and the 16th-century Church of San Francisco are architectural gems renowned for their exquisite designs.
We will then explore the Andean Sanctuaries Museum, an archaeological museum showcasing a fascinating collection of Inca cultural artifacts, approximately 500 years old, including mummies from ancient Peru.

Also referred to as the Juanita Mummy, she was a young Inca girl, aged 13 to 14, discovered frozen on Ampato Volcano in 1995. She is now securely housed in an urn at minus 19 degrees Celsius. Accompanying her were offerings such as gold and precious stone figurines, among other artifacts, which are displayed in the museum.
