The piranha fishing excursion kicks off with a pickup from your hotel in the city of Iquitos or a meeting at the Boulevard. From there, we head to the boulevard's pier to board a boat and embark on a journey to the magnificent Amazon River.
Recognized as the longest river globally, the Amazon River originates in Peru, flowing through Colombia and Brazil. The diverse flora and fauna along this natural marvel are truly impressive, featuring species such as the piranha.
Upon arrival at the fishing location, we'll guide you in using the rod and line, perfect for beginners. You will enjoy a one-hour voyage at the confluence of the Itaya River and the Amazon River, catching piranhas while taking in the stunning vistas of the Amazon rainforest.
There are various types of piranhas; most are omnivorous and inhabit the warm freshwater of the Amazon basin. Known for their sharp teeth, they pose no threat to humans.
