After exploring the Pisac market, we'll proceed to Urubamba for a traditional Peruvian lunch at a local riverside restaurant. The buffet offers regional specialties, including alpaca and trout.

Next, we visit Ollantaytambo, located at 2,792 meters above sea level. The Ollantaytambo Inca ruins served as a military, religious, and agricultural hub. It boasts stunning views and over a hundred Inca terraces with an advanced irrigation system.

Climb the steps to the top of the Fortress and visit key sites like the ceremonial center of the Temple Hill. Explore the area, including the famed Wall of the Six Monoliths, or Temple of the Sun.

At the scheduled time, you'll board a train to Aguas Calientes from Ollantaytambo station, heading towards one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Our staff will meet you at Aguas Calientes train station to escort you to your hotel. Later, you'll receive a short briefing about the next day's Machu Picchu tour.

DAY 3. MACHU PICCHU /CUSCO.

Board the bus for a 30-minute ascent along the winding road to Machu Picchu, offering spectacular views of the Urubamba River and its canyon. Machu Picchu, meaning "Old Mountain," will captivate you with its terraces, ceremonial sites, stairways, and urban areas, all exuding energy.

After a 2.5-hour guided tour, you'll have the opportunity to explore Machu Picchu independently or opt to climb Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountains (optional).

At the agreed time, you'll take the train back to Ollantaytambo, followed by a tourist bus ride to Cusco, where you'll be dropped off at your hotel in the historic center.

DAY 4. CUSCO / PUNO.

Board the tourist bus from Cusco's bus station for a 1-hour journey to the scenic South Valley, with our first stop at Andahuaylillas, situated at 3,093 meters above sea level.

This enchanting Andean town is home to a seventeenth-century architectural gem known as the Sistine Chapel, adorned with gold leaf and paintings from the Cusco art school.

The Church of San Pedro de Andahuaylillas features captivating Baroque-style art, including works by Peruvian painter Luis de Reaño. It's a must-visit on your travel bucket list.

The bus ride continues for another 1.5 hours to the Raqchi archaeological site, our second stop at 3,450 meters above sea level. The Temple of Wiracocha, built in the fifteenth century, features massive walls that were once part of temples, aqueducts, and tombs.

Here, you'll find circular storehouses known as Colcas, used to store grains like quinoa, potato, and corn. Raqchi is also part of the remarkable Inca Trail.

The journey to Puno continues, with a stop in Sicuani for a buffet lunch at a local restaurant offering regional dishes, vegetables, desserts, and hot drinks like mate de coca.

Following lunch, a 40-minute bus ride brings us to the tour's highest point, La Raya Pass, at 4,335 meters above sea level. Here, at the border of Cusco and Puno, you'll have a brief stop to admire the snow-capped Chimboya and capture stunning landscapes.

Our final visit is to the Pucara Museum, over an hour from La Raya Pass. The museum showcases an impressive collection of monoliths, stone sculptures, and ceramics from the Pucara culture, which thrived in the highlands of Peru and Bolivia.

Finally, you'll take the tourist bus for a two-hour ride to Puno, passing through the city of Juliaca, and arriving at Puno's bus station by 5:00 p.m.

Transfer to your hotel in Puno and overnight stay.

DAY 5. UROS AND TAQUILE ISLANDS.

After breakfast at your Puno hotel, you'll be transferred to the lake port, where a regular boat will take you to the floating Uros Islands.

Experience an unforgettable time with the locals, who will share their lifestyle and traditions. Over 200 families reside here. This marks the end of the half-day tour at the Uros Islands.

We'll then board the boat for a 1.5-hour journey to Taquile Island. Unlike other Aymara-speaking islands on the lake, Taquile is Quechua-speaking and was once part of the Inca Empire, with remnants visible in its architecture.

Taquile is the second-largest island in Lake Titicaca, spanning 3.4 miles. Its textiles are exceptional and recognized as UNESCO heritage. The island's highest point is at 4,050 meters above sea level.

Later, enjoy a delicious Andean lunch before returning to Puno's port, where transportation will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.

DAY 6. SILLUSTANI AND TRANSFER OUT.

The site features approximately 90 funerary towers built by the Kolla culture, an Aymara community that predated the Inca Empire. Many mummies, including priests, leaders, and nobles, have been discovered inside these towers, placed in fetal positions with belongings such as gold, silver, and ceramics.
